Alice the Musical

It's almost time for curtain up on this year's summer production which this year sees the tale of Alice in Wonderland being told by our P7 thespians. This is a great musical with catchy tunes and a wonderfully outrageous script. The show is on for two nights only 12th and 13th of June in the school assembly hall. Performances begin at 7.00pm sharp with an interval and a tuck shop available.
Admission will be by ticket only and these will be available from the school office from next Monday 4th June priced £5. Tickets are not required for smaller children who can sit on an adult's knee. The P7 pupils will have first access to these tickets from Monday to Wednesday then the remaining tickets will be on sale on a first come first served basis. The hall for insurance purposes can only hold 160 people and this will not be compromised. We look forward to seeing you all at the big show.

P1 and Nursery Open Days

We are looking forward to welcoming our new recruits for this September. Our new Nursery parents are asked to come to a meeting in the Primary school assembly hall at 2.15pm on Tuesday 5th June. This is an important meeting where parents can find out more about the Nursery Curriculum, what our expectations will be and ways in which you can help your child settle into this new transitional part of their lives.
Our new P1 parents are asked to attend their meeting in the assembly hall on Wednesday 6th June at 1.15pm. A letter is being sent this week giving details of the arrangements for your child. It will also be an opportunity for your child to see their classroom. A lot of though and effort has gone into the selection of the pupils for each class with additional information being sought from pre-school settings. We must ensure there is balance in the classes and as a result of this we are happy with how the classes are arranged by now. We look forward to seeing you all on the relevant days here at the school.
